Black Male Mental Health: Improving as Individuals First

Mental health and well-being continues to be a growing, complex concern across health, education, family, relationships, sports, spirituality, and politics. As a follow-up to our Telly award-winning Advocacy and Causes mental health-focused short film, I Am Him, our panel will discuss the most common issues Black males face today and the blueprint for resolution to navigate in a political climate that requires strong individual and collective wellness.

Agenda: Brunch (catered by 11 Circuit), private screening of "I Am Him", male and athlete mental health panel, bonus private screening of "A Time to Yell", an American Black Film Festival 2024 exclusive.

Audience: Athletes, Entrepreneurs, Fathers, Husbands, Brothers, Sons and their support system.
